Is sailing experience required?
Not at all. Our experiences are designed for everyone, including first-time sailors.
Are the tours private or shared?
We offer both private and shared experiences. Private tours are exclusive to your group, while shared tours allow you to enjoy the experience with a small number of guests on board.
How many people can join?
Most experiences are designed for small groups, creating a more relaxed and personal atmosphere on board.
Where does the tour depart from?
All tours depart from Doca de Alcântara (also known as Doca do Espanhol), Lisbon.
How early should we arrive?
We recommend arriving around 15–30 minutes before departure time and allowing extra time for traffic in Lisbon.
Can children join the experience?
Yes. Families with children are welcome on board.

The Experience

What will we see during the tour?
Depending on the route and weather conditions, you sail past some of Lisbon’s most iconic landmarks.
Can we help sailing the boat?
Yes. Guests are welcome to participate in simple sailing manoeuvres if they wish.
Is the boat stable?
Yes. Sailing on the Tagus is usually smooth and comfortable, especially during the warmer months.
What if I get seasick?
The river is generally calm, but if you are sensitive to motion sickness we recommend taking precautions before the tour.
Are drinks and snacks included?
Yes. Most experiences include drinks and light snacks.

Sunset Tours

What makes the sunset tour special?
The atmosphere on the river changes completely at the end of the day. Lisbon reveals a different side from the water.
What time does the sunset tour start?
Departure times vary throughout the year according to the sunset.
Can we celebrate a special occasion on board?
Absolutely. Sunset tours are very popular for birthdays, anniversaries and proposals.

Weather & Safety

What happens in case of bad weather?
If weather conditions are not suitable for sailing, the tour may be rescheduled or fully refunded.
Is it safe?
Safety is always our priority. The boat is fully licensed and operated by experienced crew.
What should we wear?
Comfortable clothing, sunglasses and a light jacket are usually recommended. During the warmer months, sunscreen is also advisable. For added comfort, cosy blankets are also available on board.
